Welcome to my site! I'm a Norwegian writer just publishing my first book in april 2008. It is called "Framandkar", which means "stranger". In Norwegian it's gendered male. The book is a collection of poems about transitioning from female to male and are mostly based on my own experience.

I was born in 1977 , have a master's degree in literature and live in Tromsø in northern Norway. I write erotic short stories and some articles, as well as poems. On this site you will find my "coming out"-story, my blog, CV and some texts, both litterary and academic. I have translated some of my poems and a short list of publications to English.

I was invited to the Transfabulous festival 2008, where I gave a speach on writing and transsexuality and read some of my poems. I did the same at EuroPride 2008 in Stockholm.

Academic

I've taken different classes inn humanities and social science; sociology, social anthropology, feminist philosophy, creative writing, history and got my master's degree in literature, all taken at the University of Tromsø in nothern Norway.

Through the years I've written papers on transsexualism as stigma, a literary analysis of The Picture of Dorian Grey as decacance literature and one of The Aspern Papers as an artist's novel and an exam on the sex/gender-dicotomy. My master's degree was an analysis of a Norwegian novel called Drager i hodet (Dragons in the head, my translation). I stated that the main caracter, although apparently female, actually was a FtM transsexual, or at least resembled one and was clearly gender deviant.
